Paula Vogel's provocative plays have become American classics in their own right: How I Learned to Drive (1998 Pulitzer Prize), Baltimore Waltz and The Oldest Profession. In this interview, she speaks about her hometown Baltimore, her brother's favorite city San Francisco, her work as the Head of the Playwrighting Department Brown University and her favorite subject above all: the process of creating theatre.
